DR GILLIAN YARDLEY
Hailing from the deep south – Invercargill – Gill attended high school in Dunedin, then entered Otago Medical School. She graduated from the Wellington Clinical School in 1992. Five years overseas followed, working and travelling. Gill’s first contact with Ropata was as a Registrar in 2000. After a brief stint over the hills at Porirua, Gill returned in 2001 and has been a partner since 2006.
"I have always been interested in General Practice and targeted a variety of different jobs overseas to give me broad experience."
"Outside of work, you’ll find me walking on the beach, enjoying the odd glass of medicinal wine, and daydreaming of further travels. I really enjoy working at Ropata – it’s the patients and the great staff, and the lollies in the office on Fridays."
