DR SARAH PAINTER
Sarah grew up on a farm in rural Manawatu and joined Ropata as an Associate in 2008. She attended university in Dunedin and after completing a Science degree, studied Medicine at the Otago Medical School. On leaving Dunedin, Sarah worked first in Tauranga and then the UK. She settled in Lower Hutt and worked as a GP Registrar at Ropata in 1999. From there Sarah moved on to Petone Medical Centre, Vibe (Hutt Valley Youth Health Centre) and Naenae Medical Centre.
"I find General Practice a very rewarding and privileged job. I really enjoy the variety of medicine that I see and I feel very well supported at Ropata and have found it to be a very positive move back here after eight years"
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and taking part in many outdoor activities.
