A Nurse is available for phone enquiries, advice and laboratory results between 8.30am - 11.30am and between 12.30pm - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Outside these hours you can leave a message for the Nurse and your call will be returned within 24 hours for routine enquiries.
In accordance with Privacy Act guidelines, patient information will only be given out to that person, except in the case of children under 16 years or in exceptional circumstances.
Appointments with Nurses may be made between 8.00am - 7.30pm Monday to Friday and between 9.30am - 12 noon on Saturdays.
There is a charge for Nurse consultations. Nurses’ services include audiometry, tympanometry, electrocardiographs (ECG), dressings and removal of stitches, cervical smears, breast checks, blood pressure checks, ear syringes, immunisations and pregnancy tests.
Nurses are also available to help with referrals, advisory and counselling situations. All Nurses liaise closely with the Doctors and are happy to be contacted at any stage should you have any questions or concerns.
