Prescriptions
To receive a prescription, it is usually necessary to have a consultation with your Doctor
• The cost of prescriptions in these cases is included in the cost of the
consultation
• Repeat prescriptions may be requested with prior approval of your
Doctor
You can request repeat prescriptions by phoning our prescription line between 7am - 10pm weekdays, 8am - 6pm Saturday or 9 am - 4pm Sunday on (04) 920 0800.
When requesting a repeat prescription you need to state:
• Your name
• Your Doctor’s name
• Your contact telephone number
• Name and dose of the medication and how often you take it
There is a charge for repeat prescriptions of $19 if picked up or faxed. Please allow 24 hours before collection/faxing.
Test Results
• Please allow three working days for your test results to come back to us
from the laboratory [Note that some test results may take longer]
• You can leave a meesage with the receptionist for our Practice Nurse to ring you with your result between 8.30 am - 5.00
pm Monday to Friday .
• In accordance with Privacy Act guidelines, patient information will only be
given out to that person, except in the case of children under 16 years,
or in exceptional circumstances
